m Inertia… Hooph.. How can I get rid of that??? This is the 4 th time I am writing something to put up in my blog today. And for the last three times I had 3 different topics. So it’s not because of lack of topics that I don’t write, it’s because of Inertia I guess.  Last week was really hectic. I had to submit my project, exams- both lab and theory and a lot of journey. So in this post I will incorporate the contents of the 3 posts I thought to write (in brief). Thank you to my dear friend who wrote the assignment for me which I have to submit tomorrow. I have been selected for the google summer of code project is the first thing (wonders still happen). I haven’t done anything significant for the project till date and my mentor have an option of dismissing me from the project contest before May 28 considering my performance. Hope it won’t happen. Three students from our college got selected for the SOC project and that is too less. There were some others too who were worth...

And that made him not eligible for ...

Golden Jubilee of GEC Thrissur

The golden jubilee celebration of our college started today. The celebration is indeed going to be a great event which is planned to be a one year program. A series of talks by eminent personalities is one of the key attractions. The inauguration happened today and the chief guests were Dr M.S Ananth, Director IIT Madras and Dr. P.J. George (our former principal and DTE). After the welcome speech by our principal, Dr P.J. George made a talk on how the college was at his time and what it is now and what more the college can do for the society. Right after that the lecture session by Mr M.S Ananth began which was mind blowing. He mentioned briefly how the concept of education got transformed through the following phases. Knowledge is power; it should be in the hands of exclusive few. Knowledge is power; it should be in the hands of meritorious. Knowledge is power; it should be in the hands of all. (The “Knowledge is power” part remain the same through ages ) In ancient India ...
